What I love most about this girl is her richness of good Morgan blood and particularly
the blood of Jubilee King runs through as well as Lippitt and Flyhawk blood.
She is exactly what I like. She is cute as a button as well :)
Juno will spend the winter in the great hands of my friend Jean
and go into training in the early spring of 2012.

Re-Homed
I first heard about Kyrie's plight Friday night on the Morgan colors list and was deeply saddened that such a nice mare would be in jeopardy of being shipped to Canada to be cruely slaughted. I immediately emailed and said I could provide a home. She was bred by Nina and Polly Quinn of Heyday Morgans and Nina stepped up and paid the fee to save her life. There is a great sense of urgency in these situations as the rescues can't house all the horses they help save. I had to get paperwork in Saturday and line up a shipper Sunday to have her loaded in PA by 2:30pm Monday. Thank the good Lord for providing all the details coming together, it was not easy. We drove from VT to CT to meet Todd with our special cargo. Kyrie stepped quietly off his trailer and into ours with no hesitation. I swear she knew! She did not fuss at all the three hours home and again stepped calm and quiet off the trailer amid all the whinnies. She settled in her stall and gave me a look that seemed to me a heartfelt thank you. I ripped off her auction numbers, promised her the only number she would wear again would be an exhibitor number, and blanketed her shivering body.
The funny part is, the number I removed from her hip was 888, and the number 8 in the Bible means new beginnings...
a coincidence? I think not. You decide.
This is Kyrie about 15 hours after arriving here. She is sweet natured and very level headed.
